In case you're a long-lost friend just tuning in, here's a quick summary:
After high school, I moved to Amherst, Massachusetts and played drums in an all-original dance band for four years. Then, decided to get back into two old modes: computer graphics/media and Judaism. Moved to Los Angeles, worked at an advertising agency, and began composing and sequencing songs on a synthesizer.
After two years, took my first trip to Israel. I fell in love with Jerusalem at first sight, and went back to L.A. to quit my job, pack my bags, and move to Israel forever.
Met my future wife, Sigal, a native Israeli who speaks English with a perfect American accent, and began working in the developing world of multimedia. The three person company where I was the computer guy grew to 150 people, the largest multimedia company in Asia, and I was Vice President of Research and Development.
By that time, we already had our first child, a boy named Tzvi (pronounced Tsvee.)
Soon, we sold the company to The Learning Company which was then bought by Mattel. See my current company web site (Intellity Interactive Media) for some screen shots of our products. After that company folded, we started a new firm to develop electronic books. I was Chief Technical Officer, and had a blast. But, after nine years of slaving day and night, I really wanted to spend more time with my growing family. So, we decided to homeschool our kids, (by now we had a daughter, Roni Bat-Tzion) and I left the company to start up my own small business working from home.
Since then, we've been blessed with another son, Yishai.
In 2006, we welcomed a daughter, Shir Tehila.
We are living a Torah-oriented life, in Efrat, a town of 1500 families, ten minutes south of Jerusalem. I learn Torah each morning at the Beit Midrash and with my kids, my wife gets up early each morning to exercise, and my children learn and play and grow at home.
